FAQ

RETURNS & REFUNDS:

Due to the customization and one-of-a-kind nature of TwentyTwo Degrees' adornments, I DO NOT TAKE RETURNS, AND THEREFORE, DO NOT PROCESS REFUNDS. Please be sure of your necklace length, ring size and cuff size before placing your order. If you are unsure of your size, contact me BEFORE YOU ORDER and we can make sure to work together to get you sized properly. Most jewelry stores will help with sizing for free, and I am happy to send you a ring sizer or provide you with references to sizing as well.

Please inspect (and SWOON over! ;)) your jewelry as soon as it arrives. Should it arrive damaged, it is likely that it happened after leaving me, and during transport. Should this be the case, please email me (within 48 hours) so that we can discuss how to remedy the situation.

Despite the above policies, please do contact me if you are unhappy in any way with your jewelry. I know that a jewelry purchase is a very intentional and emotional purchase, and I absolutely want you to be happy with what I have created for you.

SHIPPING:

I use USPS for all domestic orders, and DHL or FedEx for international orders. Should you desire a specific carrier due to your delivery circumstances, please contact me prior to placing your order so that I can calculate the appropriate shipping fees for you. Additionally, for all international orders, the customer is responsible for all VAT and Customs fees, and, as such, I do not have any ability to predict what charges will be incurred by your specific Government agencies, so please make sure to be diligent and do your research as to whether you will be able to pay those fees before you purchase, as all sales are final.

Items that are available for immediate purchase on the website will be sent out within 2-4 business days, and you will receive a tracking number via the email or phone number you list within check out.

Custom orders vary in regard to time of completion and shipping. Typically, after we have spoken and agreed upon a custom design, I need at least 4-6 weeks for completion of custom work due to planning, materials acquisition, and making. If you are requesting a custom order from me that is intended as a gift, please plan accordingly so that we can be sure that your gift can arrive on time.  Rush orders will incur an additional fee, dependent on timing and extensiveness of the piece. I will do my best to communicate with you during the custom making process, and once shipped, you will receive a tracking number via the email or phone number you list within check out.

PAYMENT:

Payment is expected in full at time of purchase, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. By making a purchase form TwentyTwo Degrees you are agreeing to all terms of service and policies herein.

I accept all major credit and debit cards, and most common forms of payment, including Shopify Pay, Amazon Pay, PayPal, Venmo, and multiple Cryptocurrencies. Should you wish to pay with an alternative form, please feel free to reach out and I will do my best to accommodate you.

I do not allow holds on items, but I am happy to offer a multi-month payment plan. In order to be eligible for a payment plan, the following policies apply:

  • The piece must have been listed on the website, instagram or on facebook, for more than 48 hours.
  • A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit must be paid within 24 hours of the payment plan request and subsequent agreement.
  • Additional balance due, may be paid within 2 additional payments, over no more than 2 months. The additional payments will be due the month following the deposit payment, on the same day of the month that the deposit was paid. Should these payments be late by more than 48 hours, I will process a refund of any monies paid up to this point (minus the 50% non-refundable deposit) and the piece will go back up for sale to the public. No exceptions.
  • There is no penalty for early payment, of course.
  • Once paid in full, the piece will be mailed to you immediately.

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY:

While my adornments are designed and built to last through many adventures, I strongly recommend that you remember that each item is a HAND MADE piece of art that is both delicate and unique.

Please take care to keep chemicals, oils, lotions, and other irritants from coming in contact with your jewelry, and be sure to remove your jewelry before adventuring or working in conditions that might cause damage to the metal and/or stones. I do recommend that you remove your jewelry to bathe, as well as, when washing your hands. Some stones are especially sensitive to prolonged water exposure.

Please be sure to store your jewelry in a closed environment (cloth bag, jewelry box, silk wrap, etc.) to prevent dust and tarnish. For cleaning, I recommend that you use a SOFT toothbrush and soap with a small amount of warm water. Should you find that you need to remove unwanted tarnish, there are many jewelry polishing cloths available for use. Feel free to reach out to me and I can give you the names of some of my favorites. Use care when cleaning or polishing so as not to remove the intentional patination (oxidation) on your piece. Patina does wear off over time, and especially on heavy wear items, like rings. Should you wish to have your adornment re-patina'd, I am happy to assist, just let me know!

Once purchased, you are responsible for the care of your jewelry, so please be mindful.

Naomi
